Zainab Junejo is a proud Seattle, Washington native who recently moved to Brooklyn, New York with her husband. She earned a degree in Environmental Science & Resource Management from the University of Washington, where, during her undergraduate years, she served as Treasurer of a philanthropic student organization, which sparked her passion for environmental and community stewardship. Since graduating, Zainab has taken on roles that have ranged from soil testing in a lab to managing operations at a small recruitment firm. She has extensive volunteering experience, including planting trees in nearby parks and preparing lunch bags for the homeless at her local mosque. After experiencing grief through a personal loss, she recognizes the importance of community and support during such a critical time of need. Dedicated to making a positive impact in all communities, Zainab aspires to further grow in the nonprofit sector. In her free time, she likes to explore the Big Apple with her husband. Although she is thoroughly enjoying life in a big city, she will always remain a Pacific Northwest girl at heart.
