Hands of Hope

Bringing Comfort and Healing as a Community

At Missing Pieces Support Group, we believe that support comes through small, meaningful actions. Our Hands of Hope initiative offers individuals, families, and groups the opportunity to directly impact grieving families by contributing the comfort items that go inside our care packages. Whether you host a drive or creative project, your involvement carries a powerful message.

Why It Matters

Pregnancy loss can leave families feeling isolated, confused, and overwhelmed. Our care packages are a tangible reminder that someone cares.
Through Hands of Hope, you’re not just giving items—you’re giving a message: You are not alone

Individual Service Project

You don't need a big group to make a big difference. Add words or embellishments to items we include in care packages. These quiet touches remind grieving families that someone out there sees them, cares, and took the time just for them.
  • Individuals looking for a simple way to give back
  • Families wanting a meaningful activity together
  • Youth groups, clubs, or faith-based groups
  • Small or informal gatherings of friends or coworkers
  1. Choose Your Items
Select one or more care package items to personalize—journals, books, tea wrappers, or small keepsakes. We suggest 1–50 items per person or group.
  2. Add Your Personal Touches
Write a kind note, decorate with stickers or drawings, or tuck in a small affirmation. Simple, thoughtful details can bring unexpected comfort.
  3. Drop Off or Ship to Us
Deliver your finished items locally or mail them to us. We’ll include them in care packages and share them with families who need support the most.

Collection Drive

Your collection drive helps fill real gaps in our care packages. When we’re running low on items like tea or journals, your drive can make the difference.
  • Office break rooms or lobbies

  • Waiting rooms (medical, wellness, or salon spaces)

  • Libraries or bookstores

  • Studios (fitness, art, dance, etc.)

  • Front desks or reception areas

  • Community centers or rec halls

  • Local events or markets

…and anywhere people gather!

  1. Reach Out
Let us know you’re interested! We’ll help you choose a care package item to collect (or assign one based on current needs) and send you a ready-to-print flyer.
  2. Set Up Your Bin
Place your bin in a visible, high-traffic area. Use the flyer to spread the word and encourage participation.
  3. Return the Items
Once your bin is full, drop off the items or schedule a pick-up—we’ll take care of the rest.
