Marc Johnson

Marc was inspired to volunteer for Missing Pieces Support Group by the belief that being there for others can have a ripple effect, making our piece of the world just a bit better. 

An Illinois native, Marc and his little brother moved around constantly, from house to house and school to school, unaware of the financial struggles his parents were facing. There were many moments where Marc found comfort in the compassion of others: teachers who spent time with him to help raise his grades, and families who shared meals and welcomed him into their homes during particularly tough times. Those moments inspired him to help others find that same sense of comfort and support. 

In addition to volunteering, Marc has aligned his professional life with this perspective. As a full-stack marketer, he has spent nearly two decades supporting mission-driven organizations in healthcare, education, and technology. Having cut his teeth on video and written content, he enjoys bringing stories to life and amplifying the voices of those making a difference in their communities. 

Marc lives 60 miles west of Chicago with his daughter, partner, and a parrotlet that would rather bite his finger off than look at him. His family continues to be his guiding light, inspired by laughter, hugs, and the occasional off-color joke. 

Marc is deeply honored to work with Missing Pieces Support Group and provide much-needed support to families who have experienced pregnancy loss.
