Healing After Loss

Whether you’re newly grieving or further along in your journey, Healing After Loss offers a welcoming space to connect, reflect, and feel supported—wherever you are.

About Our HAL Support

Healing After Loss (HAL) is a confidential, judgment-free monthly virtual support gathering for anyone who has experienced pregnancy loss and is navigating life afterward—whether actively grieving, trying to conceive, pregnant again, or simply seeking connection and healing. HAL provides a nurturing space where your experience is honored, and you can connect with others who understand the complex emotions and challenges that follow loss.

Each session focuses on broad, inclusive topics designed to encourage reflection, emotional exploration, and peer sharing. The conversation flows naturally, adapting to the needs of the group without following a rigid curriculum. This flexible approach allows participants to engage at their own pace, whether they are new to the community or have been on their healing journey for some time.

Participation is designed to be accessible and low-pressure, welcoming newcomers and returning members alike. HAL fosters meaningful connections by creating a supportive environment where individuals can find comfort, understanding, and shared strength throughout all stages of grief and healing.

Our goal is to meet participants where they are, offering consistent support and community connection that evolves as needs change, helping to lighten the emotional load of pregnancy loss with empathy and compassion.

What to Expect Each Meetup

Each Healing After Loss (HAL) session is designed to be a welcoming, low-pressure space where you can engage at your own comfort level. Sessions typically begin with a brief welcome and grounding exercise, followed by an introduction to the month’s topic led by a facilitator or guest speaker.

After the introduction, there’s an opportunity for open group discussion to share experiences, reflections, and support. When participation or topic depth calls for it, smaller breakout groups may be offered to foster deeper conversation in a more intimate setting.

These virtual sessions usually last less than two hours, with optional closing reflections to help process the discussion. You’re welcome to join regularly or drop in as your needs and schedule allow — there’s no pressure or commitment required.
